StJosephsCatholicPrimarySchoolEnfield_News_ANZACDayStudent representatives from Sydney Catholic schools celebrated ANZAC Day early this year, laying wreaths at a gathering of young Australians and official representatives from across the state.

Held on 9 April 2019, the RSL and Schools Remember ANZAC Commemoration Service invited students to learn more about the sacrifices those in the Australian armed forces made and still make to protect and serve their country.

Public, Catholic and independent schools from across Sydney send representatives to hear speeches by students and dignitaries and lay a wreath on their school’s behalf.

Students said they were eager to take part and celebrate all that servicemen and women have done to keep Australia safe and protect values of mateship, courage and equality.
